Real Studio output — drag the handle to compare.
Light is what a photographer sells, and Relight puts twenty setups on your photo after the fact. Choose a lighting style and the Studio re-lights the scene accordingly — the direction and softness of the key light, the shadows it casts on the face, the fill, the rim on the hair — while keeping your features, pose, clothing and background. A flat, overhead-lit selfie becomes a Rembrandt portrait with a triangle of light on the cheek, or a window-lit study, or a split-lit dramatic frame.
The classic studio patterns are all here: Soft, Dramatic, Rembrandt, Split, Butterfly, Loop, Broad, Short and Rim, plus Silhouette and Spotlight. Then the atmospheric ones — Natural Window, Candlelight, Fire Glow, Fairy Lights, Neon Cyberpunk, Film Noir, Underwater, Northern Lights and Vintage Flash. Photographers use the first group to fix a portrait; everyone uses the second to change its mood entirely. The output keeps the aspect ratio of the original.
A Standard run costs 4 credits and takes seconds; Pro and Max finishes render skin under the new light with more subtlety, which matters for close portraits. Relight is a natural follow-up to any shoot, to Background Changer when the new scene calls for a different light, and to Photo Retouch when balance alone is not enough. Compare against the original with one tap and keep the version that makes the face look best.

Good to know
Which setup is most flattering for a headshot?
Loop and Rembrandt add gentle shape to the face; Butterfly is glamorous and symmetrical; Soft is the safest for corporate use. Short lighting slims the face slightly.
Does it change the background light as well?
Yes. The whole scene is re-lit consistently, so a candlelight setup warms the room and a neon setup colors the walls.
Can I combine two setups?
Run one, then send the result back into Relight with another. Rim added after Window light, for example, gives separation from the background.
Will it fix a photo taken in harsh midday sun?
Soft or Window light replaces the hard shadows with even illumination. For a different time of day altogether, the Time of Day tool changes the sun itself.
Can I try Relight Photo without paying?
Yes. A new account comes with 4 free credits — one Standard run of Relight Photo or any other tool — and no card is needed.
